The 13th Mountain Rat

The Mountain Rats are a group of 12 motorcyclists who live in the UK. However, Gerhard, a keen motorcyclist himself, who owns and runs the superb Badischen Landgasthof Lautenfelsen, has been voted in as the 13th Mountain Rat. Gerhard and his lovely lady Dagmar welcome us each year and treat us all like family - we are always very grateful to them both. Their guesthouse cannot be recommended highly enough - ideal with a pillion as comfort and welcome are not an issue. Should you go, do please treat our good friends with the greatest respect!
